By the time we got back to our motel that evening, all our clothes , face. gloves, boots....were soaked with water and mud. Motel 6 That was our accommodation . After a hot shower, everyone felt great . Instead of eating out at the nearby Denny's , we fired up our electric wok and boiled Chinese noodles(湯麵), bak choi (白菜), beef(五香牛肉), shredded pickled pork(雪菜肉絲)and hard boiled eggs(老水蛋) for dinner in our motel room. The following egg recipes can be made using your microwave oven. Scrambled eggs, pouched eggs and omelettes.

Scrambled Eggs

If you can't furnish them with this you can use a commercially ready Koi food. Make sure to use only special Koi food with a high protein content and make sure to grind it into a fine powder before feeding it to them.

After about 7 days you can start feeding a special food consisting of fine powder pellets. When they reach 1/2 inch they can graduate to small pellets and as they grow you can moderately growth the pellet size until they are moving the same food as their parents. Feeding is one of the most important components of raising Koi fry to be happy and healthy.

It is easy to overfeed them and cause the water to come to be polluted. Young fish are very sensitive to ammonia. You must limit your feedings and furnish a water turn daily. The easiest way is to use water from your adult pond as long as your adult Koi are wholesome and the potential of your pond water is good. Eggs are an perfect source of protein, iodine and vitamins such as D and B2. Eggs can be eaten poached / boiled eggs/scrambled or fried although the first three choices are a healthier one, because you don't need to add fat when cooking. Eggs can also be used for cooking or added to other foods such as cakes or noodles. Hard-boiled eggs can be stored for future uses by pickle them.

So you see you could eat as many eggs in a week as one hen can lay in a week and if you find that you have too many eggs you can all the time sell them.

The eggs are hard boiled in the hot springs surrounding the mountain. The volcano heats these hot springs up to ridiculous temperatures like 300 degrees Fahrenheit. 3rd Grade Science Fair Projects and Ideas

3rd grade science fair projects are a lot of fun because at this age children are eager to contemplate the world colse to them and find out how things work. They are constantly wanting to know the reply to the quiz, "What happens if I do this..." and therefore they will likely come up with many separate experiments they'd like to try. It may be difficult to settle on just one!

At this age they have a short concentration span though, so the projects must be simple, fun and fairly short. There are many, many separate scheme ideas for this age group such as; do all the children in their class have the same size hands and the same size feet as each other? They can explore this by tracing the other children's hands and feet on a piece of paper and comparing them to each other.

Another fun 3rd grade science scheme would be to see if raw eggs and hard boiled eggs spin the same estimate of times. Obviously they would need an adult's help with this one in order to cook the eggs, and then they Simply need to spin each egg and description the results. There are lots of great 3rd grade science projects out there; it's just a matter of finding one that interests them.

Hard boiling your eggs is a great way to have a Quality protein snack that is portable and ready to eat in seconds. There are a range of ways to hard boil an egg. Not all of them are equal. With a small help and lots of experimenting, I have found a great way to hard boil an egg. But first, we will briefly go over a few nutritional points about eggs. There was a time when eggs got a indeed bad rap. However, in new years explore has shown that eggs aren't nearly as bad as they were once made out to be. Hard Boiled Egg Perfection

The formula I use to hard boil an egg comes from years of custom and following the guidance of both Julia Child and the Georgia Egg Council. Do note that peeling your hard boiled eggs will shorten their refrigerated life to 2-3 days. Leaving your hard boiled eggs unpeeled gives you 6-7 days of refrigerated shelf life. Eggs that are not hard boiled typically last 2 to 3 weeks in the refrigerator. Hard boiling them removes the natural protective coating of the egg thereby shorting its shelf life.

The Hard Boiled Egg Procedure

Optional, but a good idea - prick the large end of each egg you will hard boil with a small pin. Stick the pin in at least ¼ inch. (There is an air bubble at the large end an egg; this lets the air escape).

The Water - No matter how many eggs you are boiling, the water should cover the eggs by 1 inch. (Boiling more than 2 dozen at a time is not recommended).

Using a tall pan is recommended.

Cooking - Lay the eggs in your pan and cover with cold water (water should be 1 inch above eggs). Put heat on high and bring to a boil (no lid on pan). Take off pan from heat immediately when the water boils. Cover the pan and let sit for 15 to 17 minutes (17 works best for me). Set a timer!

When time is up, put the eggs into a bowl of ice and water. Chill for 2 minutes. At the same time, bring your cooking water to a boil again.

After 2 minutes, and when your water is boiling, replacement the eggs to the boiling water (go for about 6 eggs at a time if you're doing a large batch). Bring water back to boil. Boil for 10 seconds. Take off eggs and place in ice water again.

Leave eggs in ice water for 15 to 20 minutes (I go on the higher side). This chilling process prevents the yolk from getting black on the outside. This is great to know if you're having a party and want exquisite seeing hard boiled eggs. It also makes the eggs easier to peel.

Once time is up, you can pick to peel your eggs. If you do peel them, keep them in an uncovered bowl of water in the refrigerator. They should last 2 to 3 days.

If you do not peel your eggs immediately, they should last 6 to 7 days in the refrigerator.

Make sure to check the freshness of your hard boiled eggs if you do not consume them immediately. Also make sure that they are cooked all the way straight through as salmonella does occur in eggs (it is only gift in about 0.01% of eggs and can be safely cooked away).

Final tips - This formula of hard boiling an egg takes a bit more time and attentiveness than other methods, but it will give you a far excellent end product. Make sure you are fully ready with all you will need before beginning the procedure, and you will do well. Enjoy your hard boiled eggs after exercise for a shot of balanced protein, as an on-the-go snack or as a quick part of a home meal. And you can all the time get rid of the yolk to cut out a large part of an egg's fat and cholesterol.
